I just posted about Fusing Plastic Bags over on the PBRC. Last night, I took the plunge. I only messed up a few times. I can use about 4 bags per fusion session. I am using brown paper bag as the surface between the iron and the plastic. I have some promising pieces laying on the table. This is a project I have to wait til my son is asleep to do, else I risk serious burns for him or myself in the process. I can seriously see me depleting the number of bags I have stashed in my house to almost zero in a matter of weeks. Let’s hope that my iron can stand up to the abuse!
