Thank for the reprieve y’all. Today I am posting the triple stitch tutorial. Looks much better than the other one I had done yesterday. Thing is, my lighting is always a little frogged, but I will find the perfect balance soon
I also end up having to work around my son a lot, so I have to take what I can get. So without further delay:

Here I have talked about how to do the double stitch, turn that stitch, do the half double stitch, and work your way back down the row. Pretty nifty stuff ;D

I got my book( The Crochet Stitch Bible ) in the mail today. It seemed like it took forever, when it really didn’t. I also got my LionBrand catalog in the mail. I like the higher quality yarns, but I can’t see paying a dollar per ounce (or more) plus shipping right now…Red Heart hasn’t let me down yet.
The book is phenomenal. Page upon page of information, pictures, diagrams, explanations. I was so overwhelmed I nearly fainted. Seriously, I can’t believe the number of stitches that can be done with yarn and a hook. I think I will be busy for days.

I miss the old style 2 Liter soda bottles. They were not all one unit. They had a plastic tube top and a glued on bottom cup. You could easily dismantle the bottle once all the soda was gone and use it like one of the newer expensive yarn caddies. They look JUST like the soda bottles of old, but cost way more due to rebranding and a bit of revamping of the bottle.
Instead of buying such a contraption, I have decided to find an alternative. Right now my caddy of choice is the cd spindle top. It’s one that goes over the top of 100 cds. You roll your yarn in a ball, plop it in there, and place it upright on any flat surface. VOILA you have a homemade yarn caddy. You could improve upon that design by using the actual spindle as the top. Break off the long spindle and you have a circular hole perfect for threading your yarn through. You can use the 50 cd top for the same thing. Here is in example:

This is not your every day religious Bible, it is one full of all the stitches you need to know to make interesting projects. I bought it today from Amazon and hope to receive it shortly. I have read nothing but fantastic reviews for the book thus far. I hope that they are right. It was a bit of a sacrifice, but I am praying that in the end it is worth it.
